"Preparing the Scope and Sequence Plan"

There are processes involved in the planning and development which are not linear but may rather work simultaneously in order to develop a course or a set of instructional materials focused on the target when going by a language program.
The following below is one of the processes:

Ø  Preparing the scope and sequence plan (description of course after planned and organized; consist of units and required time)

The process of preparing the scope and sequence plan regards to what it is done after a course is planned and organized. It implies a full description of the course in terms of listing the modules or perhaps units and with that the content. Once the content per unit or module as been described, the teaching time per block speculated to fulfill the task is necessary

  • About the course.
This course is for young adults whose goal is to improve their language level in order to acquire the proper language skills of L2, this course is only a path to reaching a high score to the TOEFL paper based exam.
This course enables the instructor to properly guide language learning by making use of all the four language skills.

MOVIE, MUSIC  PLANS and PLACES
 Students will be able to discuss about movies as well as to make suggestions and invitations; will  be able to carry out a conversation  about their last weekend and  comment on personal problems; will share ideas and talk about a movie they  liked.

The objective of this course is also to have students discuss about bands and concerts, and students will talk to their peers about music and musicians. Students will be able talk about music genres and love at first sight; will be able to  express certainty/uncertainty.  At this stage sts will revise the past simple, the used of would like and want to for future ideas.

 YOUNG PEOPLE MEMORIES AND HEALTH
Students will talk about hopes and ambitions, and will ask and talk about plans especially about their plans for the summer, planning a night out, making and responding to suggestions.
 Student will have the opportunity to describe their town or city, talk about people's homes and plan a trip to their country.  At this stage students will learn and revise the present simple and the progressive form along with the use of how much, how many, apostrophes and negatives.

 SPORTS, GETTING TOGETHER
Students will describe a picture, interviewing students about their lifestyle, discussing charitites.
Talking about their body, make and receive telephone calls, give advice and give a short talk.
As well as to make plans to meet people, talk about personal characteristics and experiences and will be able to explain reasons for choices.
At this point students will revice and study the use of past simple and progressive form. Along with the use of should, going to and will for the future.
